One Sheet (27 X 41) Style A. , This never before offered one sheet features a beautiful portrait of stars Walter Merrill and Helene Costello in gorgeous stone litho color. Its canine co-star Rin Tin Tin Jr., however, who really steals the show in this foggy London crime thriller, as he must spring into action to rescue heroine Costello from a terrorizing ape man. None of the human stars received as many close-ups as Rin Tin Tin, prompting critics to joke that the dog star had inherited Gloria Swansons press agent. The poster displays nicely, and through careful restoration could be quite the show piece. It shows edge and fold wear, a stain in the right border, tears and chips in the borders and image area, and there are extra horizontal folds. Fine.
