Caption:
Broadway Scandals (Columbia, 1929). One Sheet (27 X 41) Sound Style. , Sally ONeil, Carmel Myers, and Jack Egan star in this early all-talking, all-dancing, all-singing musical extravaganza directed by George Archainbaud. Myers plays a Broadway star who comes between ONeils and Egans budding romance. Columbias first musical and Egans film debut, this top picture is also notable for featuring two Irving Berlin tunes: What is Life Without Love? and Would I Love to Love You. Released in both a talking version and as a silent, for theaters who had not made the transition, this stunning stone litho one sheet was used for the sound release and is in remarkable condition. It has had professional restoration to address the minor issues of one tear in the right border, a few pinholes in the borders, and small tears in Egans right arm. In gorgeous, rich colors, this poster is not one to be missed. Very Fine on Linen.
