Caption:
Casablanca (Warner Brothers, 1942). One Sheet (27 X 41). Based on the stage play, Everybody Comes to Ricks, this routine programmer from Warners turned out to be anything but routine. Director Michael Curtiz cast Humphrey Bogart alongside an international cast including Ingrid Bergman, Paul Henried, Peter Lorre, Conrad Veidt, Claude Rains and Sydney Greenstreet to give his picture the international feel it deserved. The film would go on to win Oscars for Best Picture of the Year and give Bogart his first acting nomination. This poster is one of the best copies weve ever seen and has the most minimal color touch-up to the pinholes in the corners and the fold lines with just a bit more at the centerpoint. Very Fine+ on Linen.
