Caption:
Gigolettes of Paris (Majestic, 1933). One Sheet (27 X 41). , Madge Bellamy stars as party girl who gets in over her head when she accepts an marriage proposal of convenience from a wealthy Count who has no intention of going through with his promise. Dejected, she takes up a singing career at a cabaret, where she falls for gigolo Gilbert Roland, which complicates her life even further. This terrific pre-Code stone litho one sheet was designed by renowned artist Hap Hadley, who created many of the memorable posters for Chaplin and Keaton films, as well as cartoons for New York newspapers. It shows fold wear with separations, edge wear with small chips, tack holes in the borders, and two pieces of paper tape in the borders. Do not let this rare beauty pass you by. Fine.
