Caption:
Give Me Your Heart (Warner Brothers, 1936). One Sheet (27 X 41). , Kay Francis was a Broadway star in the late 1920s before joining Paramount Studios, where she would rise to stardom on the Hollywood screen as one of the most beautiful and tallest actresses of the era (57). In 1932, Warner Brothers persuaded both Francis and her frequent co-star William Powell to leave Paramount and from then until the time this film was made she was the queen of the Warners lot! This gorgeous one sheet is typical of some of the best Warner one sheets done in this period. The poster has pinholes above the image area, bends at the corners and light edge wear. There is slight smudging in the background, minor staining at the bottom vertical fold and an extra vertical crease at the bottom. Writing on on the reverse has bled through into the title and there are pinpoint crossfold separations. Fine+.
