Caption:
Hotel for Women (20th Century Fox, 1939). One Sheet (27 X 41). , Linda Darnell made her big screen debut in this story of a girl who goes to New York to marry her boyfriend, only to find that hes lost interest in her. Instead, she becomes a model and suddenly has many admirers. The setting is in a Hotel for Women, one of many that thrived in the 1930s when single girls needed a safe and secure place to live in the big city. And although Darnell was the star, the other star is this poster itself. The one sheet, with a black background and a stunning pinup model was illustrated to perfection by McClelland Barclay. The poster had light fold wear with color touch up (and a bit more to the centerpoints) and had a set of staple holes in each corner of the black background. Each corner also had pinholes. All has been addressed with excellent restoration. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
