Caption:
Morgans Last Raid (MGM, 1929). One Sheet (27 X 41). , This is one of the early silent films that Tim McCoy, a major Western star, would make during in his career of over 91 films. Thats pretty Dorothy Sebastian (a friend and confidant of both Louise Brooks and Joan Crawford), who this same year would make Spite Marriage with then-lover, Buster Keaton. McCoy, a rancher in Wyoming, was hired to enlist native American Indians to perform in the 1923 film The Covered Wagon. He would use those contacts to obtain further work in the movies, both as a technical advisor and as an actor. This is a gorgeous stone litho poster showing Tim McCoys rescue of Sebastian. There are just minor corner pinholes, a faint dust shadow in the top of the right border, and a small cross-fold separation in the left edge. This vivid poster with McCoy vanquishing the Yankee soldier is just amazing in its completely unrestored glory! Very Fine-.
