Caption:
My Darling Clementine (20th Century Fox, 1946). One Sheet (27 X 41). A seminal film in a classic American genre, this landmark John Ford Western, starring Henry Fonda as Wyatt Earp, Victor Mature as Doc Holliday, and Walter Brennan as Old Man Clanton, tells the story of the legendary gunfight at the OK Corral. As a younger man, Ford met the real Wyatt Earp, and claimed that the way he presented the gunfight was almost entirely based on Earps own telling of the tale. An exceptional film, Westerns dont get much better than this. The artwork for this attractive one sheet was done and signed by Sergio Gargiulo. The poster has minor color touch to the fold lines and centerpoints, a small hole in the lower right background, a chip out of the lower fold line at the right edge and a tear in Victor Matures face. With expert restoration and airbrushing to the borders, the poster now has a very clean appearance. Very Fine on Linen.
