Caption:
Phantom Ship (Guaranteed Pictures, 1935). One Sheet (27 X 41). , Long before Hammer Films would recreate the Universal horror film Horror of Dracula in 1958, they would use the star of of the original version of Dracula, Bela Dracula Lugosi, in this British made murder mystery set aboard a ship at sea. This is one of only a few films made by Hammer in the 1930s until resuming production after the war. Posters for this film are exceedingly rare and this is the first time this U.S.one sheet for the film has been offered by Heritage. Bela Lugosi has one of the strongest followings among collectors and the posters for his films are always in demand, so this is a rare opportunity to acquire this gem. There are several small tears in the borders and several cross-fold tears primarily along the vertical fold line. Some of these have been reinforced with tape on the verso as well as some slight separations along the fold lines. Very Fine-.
