Caption:
Sherlock Holmes and the Voice of Terror (Universal, 1942). One Sheet (27 X 41). , This highly sought one sheet is seldom seen in our auctions, and this one is in remarkable condition! In the early days of World War II, Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) and Dr. John Watson (Nigel Bruce) are enlisted to track down The Voice of Terror, an unknown German broadcaster whose pronouncements always precede acts of sabotage and destruction. This was the first film in the Rathbone/Bruce franchise to be set in modern times, with the previous films staged in Victorian England. Tiny chips in the top border and one small chip in the right border have been touched up, and the poster has retained good color. Very Fine on Linen.
