Remarks:
June Matthias (also spelled Mathis) was the first female film executive and the third most powerful woman in Hollywood. She was also a founding memeber of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. The relationship of Mathis and Valentino is the stuff of legends. She would be buried next to him, and indeed purchased his crypt for him when he died severely in debt. This is the first starring role for Valentino

The relationship of Mathis and Valentino is the stuff of legends. She would be buried next to him, and indeed purchased his crypt for him when he died severely in debt. This is the first starring role for Valentino and this one sheet is the first on which he would be featured! Linenbacked by one of the top artisans with minimal restoration needed for just minor wear along the fold lines, and pinholes in the corners, and in the top corner image area. Fine+ on Linen.
