Caption:
The Knickerbocker Buckaroo (Artcraft, 1919). Rotogravure One Sheet (27 X 41). , Douglas Fairbanks stars as a well-to-do gent who heads out West to prove his worth and gets entangled with a man whos on the lam from a crooked sheriff. Fairbanks manages to vanquish the evil sheriff and his men with his usual flair and athletic prowess, not only saving the day, but also proving his worth and winning the girl (Marjorie Daw) as well. This would be Fairbanks last picture for Paramount (owners of Artcraft distributors), as he had just formed United Artists with Mary Pickford, Charlie Chaplin and D. W. Griffith. Prior to professional restoration, this one sheet had edge wear with small tears and small chips, and fold wear. There was an extra vertical fold, two tears into Fairbanks name on the left side, and a small tear next to his ear. This is an exceedingly rare Fairbanks title to acquire, especially this, the rotogravure one sheet. Fine on Linen.
