Remarks:
The college was foundedinSan Francisco, California, by Edward Payson Heald, on August 8, 1863, and known for many years as "Heald's Business College. In 2009 it was acquired by Corinthian Colleges, Inc and operated as a for-profit education operation. In 2015, U.S. Government shutdown Corinthian and Heald due to misrepresentation of job placement stats to students...students were allowed to have their student debts canceled due to circumstances of the closure.
